About this project:

Hi, this is Claire Seckler, creator of the band Cloudy Peachy Day.
​
I created this band back in 2019 in a design class back in high school. At first, everything was only for the design assignment which was to design a poster. I quickly made up a band and designed a band poster for their world tour.
​
Later on, after class, ideas started popping out in my head as I can't help thinking about who these band members can be and what can be their story.
​
I started doodling the characters out and I cannot stop keep developing their story. After a few months, posting drawings/illustrations of them became something I do regularly on social media. As time goes by, single drawings can no longer satisfy my urge to tell stories, so I started my very first attempt at making comics, then followed by my second attempt - You're My Nicotine.
​
I had a blast making this short series, but as I entered college, I couldn't keep on updating the comic regularly. Therefore, I ended the series. But I have more stories of them to tell, so I decided to reboot the series and take it seriously this time.
​
I am currently studying Character Animation at CalArts, and I will bring my knowledge in film-making/visual language into my storytelling for my comic. Please stay tuned in for more content I make if you are interested in what I make. (Follow me on Instagram, on which I am most active.)
